United International Import Pvt. Ltd. is located at No-286 on Nagdevi Street, right across from Crawford Market. It is a very busy part of town and the noise from the street usually makes it into the office. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is older and the stairs can be a bit steep if you are not used to them. Inside, it is just a normal office with desks and a lot of folders stacked up. We handle imports of various goods and it involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the dust from the market area gets on everything, so we are always cleaning. We are not a big company with hundreds of people. It is just a small group of us who know each other well. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. The tea stall on the corner is where we usually get our drinks during the afternoon. People walking by the market often pop their heads in to ask for directions. It is a practical place to work and we just focus on getting our daily tasks done. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. We just manage the imports and keep track of the shipments coming through. It is a lot of work but it is what we do here on Nagdevi Street every single day.
