Nafis Jewellers

Our shop is at 123 Kazi Street, right on Banian Road in Masjid Bunder West. We are quite close to Saifi High School, so we see the kids and parents passing by all the time. Being in this part of town means things are always moving. We deal with jewelry, working with gold and stones in our small workspace. It is a traditional kind of shop where we sit behind the glass counters and talk to customers about what they want. Sometimes people bring in old pieces to be fixed, and other times they are looking for something new for a wedding or a gift. We take our time with the work because it needs to be done right. The noise from Kazi Street is always there in the background, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers on Banian Road. It is a tight-knit community. We don't have a big corporate brand; we are just Nafis Jewellers, a local name that people around Masjid Bunder have come to recognize over the years. We keep the shutters open and wait for the regulars to drop by for a chat or to see our latest pieces. It’s a steady business built on being here every day. We just try to make sure every piece we handle is treated with care before it leaves our shop.
