N R Jasani

N R Jasani has been operating out of 139-G in the Agarwal Industrial Estate for quite a long time. We’re located right off S.V. Road in Jogeshwari West. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving and there’s a lot of traffic. The estate itself is full of different workshops and businesses, all crammed together. Our space is functional. We use it for storing materials and putting things together. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s usually some sawdust or packing scraps on the floor, but that’s because we’re actually working. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years. They know where every tool is kept. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in the back busy with a project. S.V. Road is a main artery, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We’ve learned to time our deliveries around the traffic jams. We just focus on getting the orders ready for the customers. It’s a practical business run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a busy, noisy, but productive little corner of Jogeshwari where we’ve made our home and built our livelihood.
