N Cooverji Hormusji & Sons

We are located at 598 J Shankar Seth Road, right in the heart of Chira Bazaar. It’s an old building, but it works for us. The family has been running things here for a long time. You can tell by the way the floorboards creak. We sell various things, mostly stuff people need for their homes or projects. The shelves are packed pretty high. Sometimes it’s hard to find things quickly, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. Chira Bazaar is always noisy and crowded, which keeps us busy. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers who’ve been coming to us for decades. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot is still written down. It’s just how we do it. The name on the sign is old, and we keep it that way. We aren't trying to be modern or anything. We just provide what's needed. The dust settles on the boxes, and we just wipe it off when a customer asks for something. It’s a simple life in a busy market. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy down the street. It’s a community. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in today. Tomorrow will likely be the same as today, and we're okay with that.
