Our office is over in Girgoan, specifically at Shivaji Archid on Tata Road-II. Most people know the Opera House area is a bit of a maze, but we are right there at Plot No. 25-B. We’ve been operating from this spot for a very long time. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though I have to say the lift can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with papers and the sound of phones ringing throughout the day. We handle various business matters and deal with clients who have been coming to see us for years. It’s a small team here. We aren't into the whole corporate polish you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. We prefer things the old-fashioned way, where we talk to people directly and get things sorted without much fuss or unnecessary paperwork. The neighborhood is always busy with traffic and people walking to the nearby stations. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, even if it brings in the city noise. We spend our mornings catching up on things and our afternoons meeting with folks who drop by. It’s a steady pace of work that we’ve grown used to. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just some old calendars and files. We know our regulars well and they know they can just walk in and find us at our desks. It’s just a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to work.
