Mummy Art

Mummy Art is a small place located in Ghatkopar West. We are in gala number B/9 within the Shiv Krupa Society. It is right near the office of Bal Surve. The shop is more like a workshop than a store. We have all sorts of art supplies and half-finished projects scattered around the room. There are jars of brushes, cans of paint, and pieces of wood everywhere. It smells like linseed oil and sometimes fresh sawdust. I spend my days here making various things. It is not a very tidy place, but that is how I like to work. People from the society often poke their heads in to see what is being made. Sometimes they bring their kids to look at the colors. We have some shelves where we put the finished items, but they usually get sold pretty fast. The lighting isn't great, so we use several floor lamps to see what we are doing in the corners. My assistant helps me with the heavier work and keeps the floor swept. It is a humble little spot. We don't have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. It is a peaceful way to earn a living, even if the space is a bit cramped. We just keep creating things and enjoying the quiet atmosphere of the society.
