Mumbai Port Trust Hospital Jeevan-Vikas Hospital Koldong

This is our workplace at Chamunda Heritage, specifically in unit A/201. It is a bit of a mouthful with the full name being Mumbai Port Trust Hospital Jeevan-Vikas Hospital Koldong, but most of us just call it the clinic or the hospital when we are talking. We are located in the Koldong area, which is a fairly quiet neighborhood when you compare it to the main roads nearby. We deal with a lot of different patients coming through the doors every day. Some are just coming in for their regular checkups, while others have more specific issues that need a doctor to look at them. The space we have inside Chamunda Heritage is set up for medical care, though it is not like those massive, shiny hospitals you see in the movies. It feels more like a local community spot. Our nurses and the rest of the staff are usually running around making sure everything is clean and that everyone gets seen on time. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if a few emergencies happen to come in at once, but that is just how medical work goes sometimes. We do not have a big budget for marketing or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live right nearby in Koldong. We just focus on getting people back on their feet. It is a practical place with a lot of hard work behind it. We see families, elderly folks, and even workers from the port area.
