Mumbai Goods Carrier

Mumbai Goods Carrier operates out of Shop No 2 near the Pankeshah Darga in Ghatkopar West. Our location puts us right near the main roads, which is important for the kind of work we do with transport and moving items. The area is always packed with trucks and vans, and there is a lot of dust and noise from the L B road traffic. Our shop is small and mostly serves as a place to handle the paperwork and talk to customers. There are usually a lot of logs and registers lying around, and the phone rings quite often. We don't have a fancy waiting area; most people just stand around or sit on whatever stool is available while we sort out their bookings. It’s a very hands-on business. Things can get a bit chaotic when several deliveries are happening at once, and we sometimes have to shout to be heard over the engines outside. We are also connected to the Chandivali area for some of our tasks, but the day-to-day grit happens here in Ghatkopar. We don't try to make the business sound more glamorous than it is. It is hard work involving a lot of heavy lifting and careful timing. We just try to keep the trucks moving and the goods getting to where they need to be. Most of our regulars are local businesses who have been using us for years.
