Mumbai Darbar Family Restaurant

Mumbai Darbar Family Restaurant sits right at the junction where Lower Parel and Curry Road meet. We’re on the ground floor of the Shiv Smriti Building, which is a busy spot because of the trains and the offices nearby. On N M Joshi Marg, there’s always something happening outside. We see a lot of families coming in, especially in the evenings when things cool down a bit. The place isn't huge, but we have enough space for people to sit comfortably in shops 9 and 10. We started this because we wanted a place where local folks could get a decent meal without any fuss. The staff here has been around for a while and they know how to handle the rush. It’s loud sometimes, but that’s just how it is at a busy intersection. We don’t bother with fancy lighting or expensive chairs. We just use what we have and keep it clean. People come in, eat their lunch or dinner, and go about their day. We keep the kitchen running from morning until late at night. Being near the station means we get a lot of people who are just passing through and need something quick. We try to be fast so they don't miss their train. It’s a practical way to run a business in this part of Mumbai. We focus on the daily chores and serving the neighborhood.
