Mumbai Art

I've been here in Kurla West for quite a while now. Mumbai Art is just a small place near Babu Pal Ki Chawl, right in Om Nagar. People around here know where we are. It’s mostly just us working on whatever comes through the door. We handle a lot of different things, mostly framing and some painting work when people ask for it. It gets a bit crowded in the shop sometimes because there is so much stuff lying around, but we manage to get things done. I started this because I liked making things with my hands. It is not a fancy studio or anything like that. Just a regular workspace where we spend our days. Some days are busier than others, especially when there are local festivals or people want something special for their homes. The neighborhood is loud and busy, which is just how it is in this part of town. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most folks just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them about us. I try to keep things simple. If you come by, you’ll probably see me sitting near the front working on something. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s part of the job. We have been in this spot for years and don’t plan on moving. It’s just home for the business. I think people like that we are easy to find and don't make a big fuss about things. Just work and making sure everything is done well enough.
