Crystal Jewel

Our office is up on the seventh floor of Beverly Hills, which is part of the Yogi Hills area in Mulund West. Being at 704 gives us a pretty decent view of the hills, especially when it is cloudy outside. It is a bit more of a quiet residential and commercial mix compared to the busy markets downtown. We handle all the jewel work from here. The room is mostly filled with workbenches and small tools that we use for the finer details. It is not a big corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, you will just find one of us sitting there with a magnifying glass or talking to a supplier on the mobile. We have some cupboards where we keep the materials locked up tight at night. The lift in the building is sometimes slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. We like the peace and quiet of Yogi Hills because it lets us focus on the small things without too much noise from the street. The space is a bit small, especially when we get a new shipment of stones or settings, and we have to shuffle the furniture around to make it all fit. It feels more like a workshop than a business office. We have our routine, starting early and staying until the light gets too dim to see clearly. It is a simple life up here.
