Vastram The Fashion Boutique

Our boutique is situated at No. 6 in Prasad Apartment, right on Sasekar Bhandhu Marg in Mulund East. It's a quiet residential neighborhood compared to the big markets. Vastram The Fashion Boutique started out as a small hobby and grew into this shop. We don't have huge glass windows like the malls, but we have enough room to show what we make. The space is a bit tight because we have racks of clothes everywhere. Sometimes the doorbell doesn't work, so people just knock. It's a friendly place. We know most of our customers by name. They live in the apartments nearby or stop by on their way from the station. We spend our days stitching, measuring, and chatting with the ladies who come in for alterations or new outfits. It’s a very local feel. We don't follow all the high-fashion rules, we just make what looks good on real people. Sometimes the fabric deliveries are late, and we have to rush to finish a dress for a wedding. But we like the pace. It’s nice being part of the Mulund community. We've been in this same spot for years, and the furniture is getting a bit old, but it’s comfortable for us and the visitors. We usually have a pile of magazines and some tea ready for anyone who wants to sit and talk for a bit while we work.
