MTS Stores

Our shop, MTS Stores, is right in the middle of the chaos in Masjid 3. If you know this area, you know how hard it is to even walk down the street some afternoons. We have been in this same spot for years now, just handling the daily stuff that comes our way. The shop is small, and we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling, which makes it a bit hard to move around sometimes. My brother and I take turns behind the counter, mostly just chatting with the regulars who have been coming here since we were kids. We don't really do anything fancy like those big shops in the malls. We just sell what people need for their homes or small businesses nearby. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, and we have to go out and help carry the crates ourselves. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the time we close up, we are pretty much exhausted. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff because everyone in the neighborhood already knows where we are. It’s just a simple life here, dealing with the heat, the noise, and the people passing through Masjid every day. It’s not always easy, but it’s the business our family has built, and we just keep it going.
