Mrudula Hospital

Our place is inside Kirtida Apartment on M D Keni Marg. Being so close to the Nahur East Railway Station means there’s always noise from the trains. You get used to the rumble after a few days. Mrudula Hospital is a small operation here in Bhandup East. We don't have a giant sign or anything. Just a simple door. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass at the front. People come in straight from the station sometimes. It’s a busy corner of the world. The rooms are small but we keep them tidy. We use regular chairs. Nothing too soft because they're hard to keep clean. I usually bring my own lunch and eat it in the back room when there’s a quiet minute. It doesn't happen often. We deal with the usual stuff you’d expect. Colds, checkups, that kind of thing. The hallway is narrow. If two people walk past each other, one has to move aside. It’s just how the building was made. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just local people working in a local building. Most of our neighbors in the apartments know us by name. It makes the day go faster when you can say hello to someone you know. We just stay here and do the work. It’s a steady rhythm.
