The Mott Macdonald Pvt. Ltd. office is located at 72/A, Old Nagardas Road, right in Gandhi Bhuvan in Andheri East. Being in Mumbai, and specifically this part of Andheri, means it’s always loud and crowded outside. But once you step inside Gandhi Bhuvan, it gets a little bit calmer. Our office has that old Mumbai charm to it, not like the new glass towers in BKC. We’ve got our desks crammed in, and there’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs looking at. The commute here is what you’d expect—lots of people walking from the station and rickshaws honking at every turn. We usually grab some snacks from the vendors on Old Nagardas Road during our breaks. The office isn’t much to look at, just a functional place where we spend our nine-to-five. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that have seen better days, but they keep us cool enough. It’s a tight-knit group here because the space is small, so we all know what’s going on with each other. We don’t really do formal meetings; we just talk across the room. It’s a practical setup for a busy city. No bells and whistles, just a group of people trying to get through the work list. It’s worked for us so far, and we don't plan on changing it. We like being in the heart of Andheri because everything is accessible and the local food is great.
