Monica Hall

Monica Hall is located inside the Monica Arcade on Subhash Lane in Malad East. We are right across the street from the Syndicate Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us if they haven't been here before. The 400097 area is always buzzing with activity, especially with the bank right there and all the other shops in the arcade. To get to the hall, you have to come through the main entrance of the arcade and head up. It’s a decent-sized space that we keep as clean as possible for whatever is going on that day. The fans on the ceiling are pretty old but they still work well to keep the air moving when there are a lot of people inside. We spend a lot of time arranging the chairs or making sure the lights are working properly before anyone arrives. Subhash Lane can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to come by rickshaw if they can. The arcade itself has a lot of different businesses, so there is always a mix of people coming and going past our doors. It’s a bit of a plain space, just white walls and a tiled floor, but it’s practical and does the job it’s supposed to do. We’ve been part of this Malad East neighborhood for a long time and we’ve seen a lot of things change on this street over the years.
