You can find Mohanlal M Thakkar over in Parel, at the Adhyaru Ind estate. We are on the 1st floor in store number 4. Parel is an area that has changed a lot, but this industrial estate still has that old-school working feel to it. We’ve been here for quite some time. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. We mostly deal with our goods and handle the logistics of our business from this small unit. There’s always the sound of machinery or trucks moving nearby, which is just part of being in an industrial area. Our day is mostly filled with checking stock and talking to suppliers. We aren't big on fancy titles or mission statements. We just run the business the way it’s always been run. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but we don't mind the climb. It’s a quiet spot once you’re inside the store. We know our neighbors in the other units, and there’s a sense of community here. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people who need us usually know where store number 4 is. It’s just honest, daily work for us at Mohanlal M Thakkar. We’ve seen the seasons change from this window and just keep going about our business regardless of what’s happening outside. Sometimes the lights flicker, but we just get on with it and keep the records straight.
