Mody Roadways

Mody Roadways has its main office at 410, Agh Chambers. We are located on Kaggadaspura Main Road in Masjid Bunder West. It’s a bit of a confusing address for some, but once you find Agh Chambers, we are easy to spot. Transport is what we do. We have trucks coming in and out, or at least we manage the schedules for them. Masjid Bunder is always packed with traffic, especially with all the wholesale markets nearby. It makes our job interesting. The office is usually full of drivers and guys checking manifestos. It’s a bit dusty because of all the road work and the constant movement of goods. We’ve been in the roadways business for quite a long time now. My father started things off and we just kept it going. It’s not a clean-cut corporate environment. There are maps on the walls and tea stains on the tables. We spend a lot of time on the phone tracking where the loads are. Sometimes things get delayed because of rain or breakdowns, and then the office gets really hectic. We just try to keep the wheels turning. It’s a tough business but someone has to move the stuff from point A to point B. We just stay focused on the logistics and making sure the drivers are okay. We’ve been here through all the changes in the neighborhood. It's a lot of noise but we are used to it.
