Modern Transport

We operate out of a small space in Andheri East. It’s part of the same block as Modern Tailor, right near the Wilson Telephone Exchange. It’s a busy spot with trucks and vans moving in and out all day. We handle a lot of the logistics and paperwork right here in the shop. It isn’t much to look at, just a desk and some ledgers. There’s usually someone around to answer questions if you stop by. The area is always crowded, so parking can be a real pain. We’ve been doing transport stuff for years now. We know the routes and the drivers well. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing. It gets dusty with all the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy trucks, just the ones that get the job done. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. It’s a straightforward business. We take the orders, find the drivers, and track the loads. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We don't use any fancy systems, just paper and a bit of computer work. It keeps us busy from morning till night. That is just how the days go here for us.
