Jogeshwari is always packed, and being at B-102 in Hafizi House means we are right in the thick of things on S.V. Road. Mod Chem (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space for quite some time. It's a busy building with a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. Our office isn't very big, but it holds everything we need to keep things running. We have desks covered in papers and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. The traffic outside never really stops, so you get used to the sound of horns and engines in the background while you work. We mostly deal with chemical supplies and coordination from this spot. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, and it takes twice as long for anyone to reach us. We have a small corner for making tea, which is probably the most used part of the office. The walls are a pale color, maybe they were white once, but they've aged. We don't really do much to decorate. We just make sure the orders are sorted and the paperwork is in the right folders. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. Most of us take the local train to get here, so we’re always watching the clock for the evening rush.
