Started Mobile World a while back here in Vile Parle West at G-112. It’s just a small spot filled with boxes of chargers and screen protectors piled up everywhere. Some days are quiet, just us sitting here fixing cracked screens or showing someone how to use their new phone. We’ve seen the street change outside the shop window over the years. Most people come in because they dropped their phone while rushing to the station. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It is mostly just the counter and the repair bench in the back where the light is better. Sometimes the coffee machine works and sometimes it doesn't, so we just go to the stall nearby. People ask for all kinds of things, from the latest models to old cables that nobody makes anymore. We try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves but it gets messy sometimes. If you look for G-112 you’ll find us right there, usually someone is out front talking or moving boxes. It’s not a big corporate store, just a regular place where we get the job done and hope the electricity doesn't go out during a long software update. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who live in the building nearby. It’s okay here. Just a normal shop doing normal things for people who need their phones working again without any fancy talk.
