Mobile World is tucked away inside the New Textile Market at number 7 in Bhandup West. Since we are in the market area, there is always a lot of noise and people carrying bundles of cloth passing by the front door. The shop itself is pretty small, but we make use of every inch of wall space for hanging up headphones and cables. I usually spend the morning checking the inventory and making sure the display units are clean. Bhandup West is a fast-moving part of town, so we get a lot of commuters who drop off their phones for repair on their way to work and hope to pick them up by evening. It can be a bit stressful when a lot of people come in at once, especially during the lunch hour when the market is packed. We have a small workbench tucked into the corner where most of the soldering and screen replacements happen. The light in the market isn't always the best, so we have a couple of extra lamps on the desk to see the tiny screws inside the phones. We don't really do much advertising; people just find us because they are already in the market for other things. It is just a simple shop where we handle mobiles and try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the market outside. We spend the day dealing with cracked glass and software glitches for whoever walks in.
