Mobile Touch

DN Road is always buzzing with people, and we are right in the middle of it at Shop No 4 & 5. It’s a busy spot in Fort, so there is never a quiet moment. We started Mobile Touch because we wanted a place where we could just work on phones and help people out. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a couple of units knocked together with some glass counters and shelves full of boxes. Sometimes the morning commute makes it hard to even get the shutters up, but we manage. We’ve got a small fan in the corner that hums all day, and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic. We spend most of our time talking to people who come in from the street, maybe they need a new battery or just a cheap cover for their old phone. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. We don't have a big staff or a fancy uniform. It’s just us in our regular clothes, sitting behind the counter. The light from the street comes in through the door, and you can always hear the buses passing by outside. It gets a bit dusty being on the main road, so we are always cleaning the displays. We’ve been here a good while now, and we know the other shop owners on the block quite well. It’s a simple life, just running the shop and making sure we have what people are looking for.
