Mobile Point

Mobile Point is situated at Mumbai Central Ho 5. It’s an area that never really sleeps because of the railway station being so close by. You can always hear the announcements for the trains and the sound of thousands of people walking past. Our shop is one of the many small units in this block. It’s got an old-fashioned feel to it, with shelves that go all the way up to the top. We have to use a small stool to reach the stuff stored on the higher levels. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually get it done. Usually, the place is full of boxes and packing tape because things are always coming and going. We don’t have a lot of space for people to sit down, so most of our visitors just stand by the counter while we talk. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of the city and the food stalls nearby. We usually grab lunch from the guy who sells vada pav just down the street. It’s a fast-paced environment, and you have to be quick to get anything done around here. We’ve seen the station change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It’s just a busy shop in a busy part of town, which keeps us occupied throughout the day.
