Mobile Point

Mobile Point is located at number 2 on Carter Road Number 3 in Borivali East, just a little way down from the other shops. It’s a tiny space, barely bigger than a walk-in closet, but we make it work. We have glass counters filled with different types of mobile chargers, earphones, and second-hand phones that we’ve fixed up. Most of our day is spent hunched over a workbench with a magnifying glass, trying to fix charging ports or cracked screens. It’s very detailed work and it can be frustrating when the parts are so small. The shop is always buzzing with the sound of the radio and the traffic outside. We get a lot of young people coming in who want the latest fancy phone covers. We also help a lot of the older people who struggle with their smartphone settings. We don’t have a big team of technicians, just me and my younger brother. We learned most of what we know just by taking things apart and putting them back together. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we have to wipe the glass every few hours. We aren't some big brand store. We are just a local place where you can get your phone sorted without having to wait for weeks.
