Mobile Corner

We are based in Mumbai, just running a small place called Mobile Corner. It is exactly what it sounds like, a little spot dedicated to phones and all the small things that go with them. We have some display racks for cables and headphones, and a counter where we talk to everyone who walks in. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we store our stock. Usually, there are boxes piled up in the corner near the door. We spend a lot of time helping people with their SIM cards or showing them how a new gadget works. It’s quite a busy life being in Mumbai, and there’s never a dull moment. We have a small stool behind the counter that isn't very comfortable, but it’s where we sit when things finally quiet down for a few minutes. The floor is just simple tile and it gets dirty pretty fast with all the foot traffic. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit when it's on high speed, but it keeps us cool enough. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a regular shop for regular people. We know the other shopkeepers on the street, and we often share a cup of tea during the slow hours. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the local scene. We don't have fancy systems, just a notebook and a basic computer for the daily stuff.
