MM Confectionery Hotels and Beverages LLP

MM Confectionery Hotels and Beverages LLP operates out of Unit No 4 on the 4th floor of The Centrium. This building is part of the Phoenix Market City complex in Kurla West. If you’ve ever been to the mall there, you know how packed it gets on the weekends. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise downstairs, but it’s still quite a lively area. Mumbai is never quiet, especially not in Kurla. We handle a mix of things, from sweets to drinks and hotel-related stuff. It sounds like a lot because it actually is. Our office is usually filled with samples and boxes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. We aren't a big fancy operation. We’re just a small group of people trying to manage the supplies and the orders. The lift in the building is slow sometimes, so we end up waiting around a lot when we have to go down. We’ve had some long nights here when the orders are high and the deadlines are close. The humidity in Mumbai doesn't help with the confectionery side of things, so we have to be very careful with storage. We just do what needs to be done every day. It’s practical work. There is not much time for anything else besides the business. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the mall crowd.
