Decott Fashions

You can find us at No. 589 in Narayan Chock, right inside the MJ Market. It’s a busy area with a lot of foot traffic and people moving goods around all day long. Our shop, Decott Fashions, is right in the middle of it all. We don’t have one of those big, shiny storefronts like you see in the malls. It’s more of a practical space where we keep our stock and talk to our customers. The shelves are usually packed tight with different garments and rolls of fabric. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down because there are so many boxes waiting to be sorted. We’ve been in this market for a while, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a loud place, especially in the afternoons when the market is at its peak. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching on new arrivals and making sure everything is sized correctly. It’s just us working here, trying to keep up with what people are looking for this season. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or lighting; we’d rather just have the right clothes on the racks. If the door is open, we’re probably inside checking an invoice or rearranging the display. It gets dusty being so close to the main walkways of the market, but we give the place a good sweep every morning before things get too crazy.
