MJ Electronics has been sitting right here at the Khar Road corner for quite some time now. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past our door a thousand times. It is a busy spot with all the traffic and people rushing to the station. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, honestly. We have shelves piled high with all sorts of parts, wires, and boxes that have been there for a bit. It gets a little dusty sometimes because there is always so much coming in and out. Most days it is just us behind the counter trying to find that one specific cable or battery someone is looking for. We don’t have a big team or a marketing department. It is just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Usually, the fan is humming and we are checking some circuit or another. People come in when their stuff stops working or they need a quick replacement for something at home. We just do what we can. Sometimes we get chatty with the regulars who have been coming here for years. It’s a simple way to make a living. We keep the doors open through the heat and the monsoon rains. You won’t find any big speeches here. We just know our way around electronics and stay put at our corner. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the day, one after another.
