Mitali Media

Mitali Media operates out of a small room, Number 507, in Jyoti Chawl. We are located in Vile Parle West, right near the Old Bazar. If you know the area, you know it is always crowded and full of life. Being in a chawl means we are right in the thick of the community. It is not a quiet office building by any means. You can hear the sounds of the market and the neighbors all day long. We handle various media tasks, mostly local advertisements and small-scale promotions. Our desks are pushed up against the walls to make enough space for everyone to sit. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three people in the room. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just do the work that comes in. Sometimes we are out in the bazar talking to shop owners, and other times we are stuck inside on our laptops. The stairs up to the fifth floor are steep, so we definitely get our exercise. It’s a very grassroots kind of business. We’ve been part of Vile Parle for a while, and we like being where the action is. It is honest, hard work and we don’t pretend to be anything we aren't. We just help local folks get their word out in the neighborhood. The walls are covered in old posters and notes we've scribbled to ourselves over the years. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is.
