Our office, Miraj Electrical & Mechanical Co. Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in Swastic Chamber, specifically at unit number 2 on CST Road in Chembur. Being in Mumbai, it’s always a bit hectic outside. We handle both electrical and mechanical jobs. It’s a mix of things really. Some days we are looking at wiring diagrams and other days we are dealing with heavy machinery parts. The space isn't huge but we make it work for us. We’ve been in this part of Chembur for quite some time now. The traffic on CST Road is something else, so we’ve learned to start our days early. We aren't some massive corporation with floors of people. We’re just a local company doing our thing. The desks are usually piled with blueprints and dusty invoices. It’s a practical setup. We get a lot of regular clients who just know where to find us. We don't bother with much advertising. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking in because they saw the sign. We try to keep things straightforward. If something is broken, we look at it. If we can fix it, we do. Mumbai is a tough city but we’ve managed to stay steady here. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend most of our breaks. It's just a normal business life for everyone here and we don't mind the noise much.
