About Miracle Crafts – Housewares & Supplies in Mumbai
I've been working out of A/701 in Koldongri Chs for quite a while now. Parsiwada is a busy little pocket and being in a residential building like this makes the work feel a bit more personal than a big factory. Most mornings, the living room area gets taken over by whatever project we are currently putting together. There are scraps of material and tools scattered on the tables. It’s not always the neatest place, but that is just how things go when you are actually making things by hand. Miracle Crafts isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It is mostly just us handling the daily grind. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to see what we are making. We spend a lot of time sorting through supplies and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. You get used to the sounds of the neighborhood while you work. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside the building, away from the main road noise. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when we are trying to wrap things up and get things ready for delivery. I don't really have a fancy office setup. It is just a workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the tea breaks last a bit longer than they should because we start talking about new ideas. That is the nice part about being local and small. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. I like the independence of it all.
