Continental Fashions & Exports

We are situated at A-1/430 in Sector 2 of Santi Nagar, which is in Mira Road East. Continental Fashions & Exports is the name on the paperwork, but to us, it’s just the place where we spend our ten-hour days. This part of Mira Road is quite residential, so we have to be careful not to make too much noise late at night. We do a lot of packing and sorting here because we send things out to different places. There are always cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling waiting for the courier. The floor is usually covered in tape and packing slips. We have a couple of big tables where we fold the clothes and check them for loose threads before they go into the bags. It’s repetitive work, but we talk and listen to the radio to pass the time. The sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the morning, so we have some old curtains to keep the heat out. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy furniture. Most of our chairs are a bit old and the desks are scratched up from years of use. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly. It’s a simple operation run by people who live right here in Santi Nagar. We just do our job and go home to our families.
