Milkokisan Agro Vet (Opc) Private Limited is based right here in Kolgaon. We’re set up at Shri Laxman Babaji Lagad’s place. It’s in the Shorigonda taluka of the Ahmednagar district. Being an OPC means it’s technically a one-person company, but there’s always a few family members or friends helping out with the chores. We focus on the agro and vet side of things because that’s what people in Kolgaon actually need. Animals and crops are the lifeblood around here and we understand that well. We aren't sitting in a skyscraper in a city; we’re right here on the ground where the animals are. The office is very simple and just does the job for us. Ahmednagar can be quite dry and dusty, so we spend a lot of time thinking about water and better feed for the cattle. We don't have a fancy logo or a big advertising budget to speak of. Most people know us by word of mouth and that works just fine. We keep our records at the house and handle the daily tasks as they come. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing with questions about cattle feed or medicines late into the evening. We do our best to answer everything honestly. It’s a local business through and through. We don't try to sound like a big multinational corporation because that's not who we are. We are just part of the community in Shrigonda. It’s honest work, and it keeps us very busy from sunrise until the sun goes down.
