Mesh

Our shop is No. 2 in Simple Apartment, right on 16 Bandra West. We are directly opposite the Syndicate Bank. Bandra is a lively place to be, and our little spot in Simple Apartment is right in the thick of it. We call ourselves Mesh, and we do a bit of this and that. The space is small, so we have to be careful about how much stuff we keep inside. It’s a casual environment. You might hear music playing when you walk in. We aren't big on formalities here. We wear what we want and talk to everyone like they’re a neighbor. Being across from the bank means there’s always people walking past our window. Sometimes they stop in just to look around. We don't have a polished pitch for what we do. It’s just a business we started because we wanted to be in Bandra. The rent is high, but we make it work. On rainy days, the water tends to pool a bit near the entrance, so we keep a mop handy. It’s those little things that make it feel real. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else. Everything happens right here in Shop 2. We just take it day by day and see who comes through the door. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We're usually here until the sun goes down and the streetlights come on.
