Mehta Transport

Mehta Transport has been operating across from the Payal Hotel in Dahisar for quite some time now. You can’t really miss our spot if you are driving by that specific area. We handle a lot of the local transport needs for folks around here. It is mostly just about getting goods from one point to another without making too much of a fuss. The location we have is convenient because all the drivers know the hotel landmark so well. We spend most of our mornings just checking the schedules and making sure the lorries have enough fuel for the day’s trips. It can be a noisy business to be in, especially with all the heavy traffic right outside our door, but we have gotten used to it. The office we use isn’t much to look at honestly. It’s just a simple desk and a few chairs where we sit to drink tea and talk to the drivers between their runs. We don't do any real advertising or big marketing. Most people just know we are here because they see the sign when they are near the hotel. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult for the trucks, especially during the heavy rains when the roads get all muddy and slow. We just try to stay on schedule as much as the Mumbai traffic allows us. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls every single day to make sure things move.
