Mehta & Shah Corporation

Our office is over in New Anant Bhavan, right near the Masjid Bunder Station. If you know the 15th Cross, you know it is always packed with people and carts moving goods around all day. Mehta & Shah Corporation has been tucked away in this building for quite some time now. It is a very busy part of town, and the noise from the station never really stops. We spend our days handling orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. The desks are covered in ledgers and old files because we still like having things written down on paper. It is not a flashy setup at all. We have tea twice a day, and that is when most of the real talking happens between the staff. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a complete mess, but the work carries on anyway. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just trade what we have and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Most of our neighbors in the building are doing the same thing. It is a lot of phone calls and checking prices. We don't use any fancy software, just what works for us. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the stairs. We are usually here until the evening.
