Meenakshi Ritika Foundation For Prevention Of Thalassemia

We set up the Meenakshi Ritika Foundation over in Worli. Our space is in Sterling Sea Face, specifically Flat 703. It’s right on Dr. A.B. Road, not far from Poonam Chambers. Being near the sea is nice, but we are usually too busy to look out the window much. The foundation focuses on Thalassemia prevention. It’s a lot of administrative work, talking to families, and organizing things from this apartment. We chose this location because it’s central for people coming from different parts of Mumbai. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a lot of character. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, brochures, and records. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who care about this cause and want to do something useful. The traffic on Dr. A.B. Road is always a mess, so we usually tell people to take the train or leave early. Working in Worli means we are right in the heart of things. We spend a lot of time on the phone or answering emails. It’s quiet work, but it feels important to us. There isn't any fancy decor here. We use our resources for the work itself rather than on expensive furniture. It’s a simple setup for a serious purpose. We've been here for a while and the neighbors know us by now. We just try to help out where we can.
