Meena Saloon

Meena Saloon is over in Marine Lines, right by the railway station. Shop No 6 is where we stay most days. It gets busy because of the trains, but we just keep going. It’s been here a while now. We handle haircuts and the usual stuff you expect when you walk into a place like this. Mumbai is always moving, so we try to keep up with everyone coming in and out. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just some chairs and mirrors. We know a lot of the people who come by after work. Sometimes we talk about the weather or just sit in silence while the scissors do their thing. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Usually, we open early and close when the last person leaves. You can find us easily if you are walking from the station. We don't have a big sign, but people know where we are. It’s just a normal spot for a haircut. No one is putting on an act here. We just do the job and say hello. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but that's just how the shop is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our window. It’s a good spot to be. We keep the floor swept and the combs clean. That's about it really. Just a local shop near the tracks.
