We’re over in Powai, in the Solaris I building, specifically unit C 230. It’s on Sakivihar Road, which is always packed with people, autos, and cars. Mumbai is like that, I guess, never really quiet. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, doing engineering stuff. It’s a lot of technical work, sitting at desks and looking at drawings, or sometimes checking on the equipment we’ve got stored in the back. The building is pretty big, and there are a lot of other offices around us, so you see different people in the hallways all the time. Sometimes it feels like a maze trying to find the right unit if you haven't been here before. We’re just a group of engineers and support staff trying to get through the daily list of things to do. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets so incredibly hot outside in the afternoons. We have our routine—get in, check the emails, talk about the current projects, and try to solve whatever problems came up the day before. It’s not like those fancy modern offices you see on TV with beanbags and games. It’s more of a practical space with lots of files, binders, and spare parts lying around on the shelves. We often go out for snacks or a quick tea near the station when we need a break from the screens. Powai is a busy part of the city, so there’s never really a dull moment.
