Md College is right on Dr. S.S.Rao Road in Mumbai. If you know the 400012 area, you’ve probably walked past our building a dozen times while going about your day. It’s a very busy street, like most of Mumbai is, so there’s always noise from the traffic and people moving around outside. Inside the walls, we have the different departments for arts, science, and commerce all squeezed into the building space. It’s an old place with a lot of history, so the rooms have seen thousands of students come and go over the decades. We don't have the newest facilities or those fancy glass buildings you see in the corporate brochures, but the classrooms are functional and serve their purpose. The professors have been here for years and they know the syllabus like the back of their hands. Students come from all over the city, taking the local train or the bus to get to S.S.Rao Road every morning. It gets pretty crowded in the hallways between the lectures. We just try to keep everything organized so the exams happen on time and everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It’s a no-nonsense kind of college. We focus on the lectures and the lab work without any extra drama or fancy events. The office staff stays busy with all the forms and registrations that come with running a place this size in Maharashtra. It’s just a solid, local institution where people come to get their degrees and move on with their lives.
