Mayuresh Printers

Our shop is number 3 in the Hrishikesh Building. We’re right here in Vile Parle East, and it’s easy to spot us because we are near the CKP Co-operative Bank. The sound of the printing machines is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. It’s a constant hum and click that fills the room from morning until we lock up. We usually have ink on our hands by ten in the morning, and it never really washes off completely. The space is filled with stacks of paper, different weights and colors, and boxes waiting to be picked up. We do a lot of small jobs for the people in the neighborhood, like wedding cards or just basic forms for the shops nearby. It’s a small team, and we mostly just focus on getting the alignment right and making sure the colors aren't too far off. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend an hour poking around with a screwdriver. Vile Parle is a nice area, and we get a lot of regular faces coming in to chat while they wait for their orders. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here, just the equipment and a few chairs. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, one page at a time, until the work is done.
