Mavlankar Hospital

Our place is located at 25 Rana Bhrvad Chawl, and we are right opposite Patil Udtan. If you know the area, you know it is a bit of a tight squeeze around here. The chawl is always full of life, with neighbors talking and kids running around the entrance. Being across from the garden is nice because we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, though the street noise is still pretty constant. The hospital itself is small and tucked away, so people sometimes walk past us the first time they try to find the address. Inside, the rooms are quite narrow and we have to be careful how we move the equipment around so we don't bump into anything. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it works for what we need to do every day. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to drown out the sound of the traffic. Most of the people who come in are from the immediate neighborhood, so we see the same faces quite often. It feels more like a local spot than a big institution. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a coffee machine, just a few plastic chairs and a water cooler that rattles a bit when it runs. It is just us here, doing the work and keeping the doors open for whoever walks in from the chawl or the park across the way.
