Mavericks Diam Llp

Our office, Mavericks Diam Llp, is located in the Bharat Diamond Bourse over in Bandra Kurla Complex. We are in the G Block, unit EC 2030. If you’ve ever been to the Bourse, you know it’s like a city on its own. It took me a month just to stop getting lost in the hallways. We focus on diamonds here. Most of the day involves checking stones, weighing them, and making sure all the paperwork matches up. It’s a lot of detail work. My desk is usually covered in little papers and containers. We are a small group, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We don't really do much in terms of sales pitches. Most of our work is behind the scenes, just moving things along in the supply chain. Mumbai is the place to be for this, and BKC is the center of it all. The traffic to get here in the morning is a nightmare, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s all business. We keep the lights bright so we can see what we’re doing. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We don't have a website or a big social media presence. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s a simple life, even if we are surrounded by expensive stones all day long.
