Matushree Party Hall

Our hall is in the Matushree Building over in Iraniwadi. It is in Kandivali West, right across from Dattani Gram No 3. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but most people take an auto. The hall is not huge, but it works well for birthday parties, engagement ceremonies, or small community meetings. We have been here for a good number of years. The building is a bit old, so it has that lived-in feel. We provide the chairs and the basic lighting. Most families bring their own decorators to make it look nice. We do not have a big corporate office or anything. It is just a small room at the side where we handle the bookings. We spend a lot of time making sure the toilets are clean and the fans are working. Sometimes the neighbors complain if the music is too loud late at night, so we have to watch out for that. It is a local business and most of our customers are from the nearby societies. We do not do any fancy marketing. Usually, people just know us through word of mouth. It is a simple place for simple celebrations. We just try to make sure everything is ready when the family arrives for their function. It is a lot of checking lists and moving furniture, but it keeps the building going.
