We are based out of K-5 in the Ansa Industrial Estate. It is on Saki Vihar Road in Sakinaka, which everyone knows is a nightmare for traffic. We have been in Andheri East for a long time, and the industrial estate has changed quite a bit over the years. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of metal and oil. It is a family business, hence the name, and we have got a few of us working here every day. The space is a bit dark, but we have big lights over the benches where the real work happens. We do not have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you will probably find one of us with grease on our hands. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. The rent in Sakinaka keeps going up, but we have stayed put because our customers know where to find us. My brother handles the paperwork mostly, while I stay out in the shop. It is a system that has worked for a long time. It is noisy because of the other units nearby, but you get used to the sound of the estate after a week or two. We eat our lunch together at a small wooden table in the back. There is always a list of jobs pinned to the wall with a magnet. We just take them one by one and finish the orders.
