Masters Collection

Our shop is at 125 Pavanputra in Maruti Nagar, which is right in the heart of the Nagpada area. It’s a place that’s always full of energy, mostly because the streets are so narrow and people are always rushing somewhere. We’ve got a small window at the front that looks out onto the street. I spend a lot of time looking through it when things are quiet. The walls inside are lined with boxes and hangers. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We keep a ledger on the desk to track everything, and the pages are starting to get a bit yellowed at the edges. The ceiling fan is old and wobbles a little, which used to worry me but now I don't even notice it. We get a lot of local folks stopping by just to pass the time. Nagpada has a way of feeling like a small village even though it’s in a huge city. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to work and earn a living. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the building, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the day. We don't have any big announcements or fancy slogans. It’s just us, sitting in the shop at Maruti Nagar, doing our thing every day and hoping the traffic isn't too bad.
