Masoo Trading Co has been based in Girgaon 4 for quite a few years now. It’s a small place, tucked away where you might miss it if you aren’t looking closely. We handle a bit of everything in the trading business. It depends on the day and what people are asking for. The office is usually stacked with papers and samples from different suppliers. It’s not the most organized looking spot, but we have our own system that works. Most of the time, the phone is ringing with someone checking on an order or asking about prices. We don’t really have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time. The neighborhood is loud and full of life, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes we stand out front for a break and talk to the other shop owners nearby. Trading can be a bit unpredictable, some weeks are slow and others we can’t keep up. We just take it as it comes. We aren't interested in being the biggest company in the city. We just want to do right by the people we deal with every day. If you come by, don't expect a lobby or fancy chairs. It is just a workspace where we get things done. It’s basic, but it’s ours and we know how to run it.
