Vijay Komal Textiles

Our place, Vijay Komal Textiles, is tucked away on the first floor. We are in Room No. 7 at 1618 Dariyasthan Street. It’s right near the Punjab National Bank near the Masjid. Finding us for the first time might take a minute because the street is always so busy. There are lots of people moving back and forth with goods. Once you get up to the first floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We have been here for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the fabric and orders to worry about that. It’s a working space, after all. We get a lot of foot traffic from the bank nearby too. Dariyasthan Street has its own rhythm. It can be loud and dusty, but it’s where all the action is. We keep our stock in the back and the front is where we talk to folks. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep if you are carrying something heavy. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's just a room where we do our work every day. You might hear the call to prayer from the Masjid while you’re here. It’s a familiar sound for us. We just keep doing what we do, day by day, in this little corner of the building. We don't see any reason to change things much after all these years.
