Dimple Designer

You’ll find Dimple Designer at 321 Samuel Street in Masjid Bunder. This area is famous for being incredibly crowded and full of trade. Samuel Street is narrow and always packed with people carrying sacks of goods. Our shop is on the ground floor and it’s quite small. We have fabrics and design sketches all over the place. It can feel a bit cramped when more than two people are inside. The energy of Masjid Bunder is intense, with constant noise from carts and shouting vendors. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We are usually too busy talking to customers or sketching out new ideas. We don't have a big air conditioner, just a ceiling fan that hums loudly. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside to catch a bit of a breeze. It’s a very traditional way of working. We know the other shopkeepers on the street and we often share tea in the afternoons. Dealing with the logistics of this area is a challenge, but we’re used to it by now. We don't use any fancy software for our designs, mostly just pencils and paper. It’s a hands-on business in the heart of the market. We just keep doing our thing and hope the street doesn't get too blocked up.
